It is time again for our annual showing of the BBC's 1995 Pride and Prejudice mini-series! Tickets will be available soon, and members of our mailing list will have the first opportunity to snag them.
Six whole hours of Colin Firth in the historic Capitol Theatre, secluded from modernity in the beautiful grounds of Fort Edmonton Park. Movie Admission is free, but your donations do make this event possible, covering the base costs of running this event (theatre rental, etc.), so they are much appreciated.
You can also make a full day of it! We offer an Afternoon Tea and Dinner at the historic Selkirk Hotel, delicious food in a warm atmosphere, and even a wagon ride through the Fort. The Hotel is also open during this special event, allowing you to turn a fun day into a mini vacation! A lovely brunch is part of our Staycation package.
Fort Edmonton Park asks us to convey their policy that no outside food is permitted in the Park. There will, however, be food services on site in addition to the Afternoon Tea and Dinner options, including theatre concession, and light fare and drinks. These are cash-only, and there is an ATM on site.
Both the theatre and hotel are wheelchair accessible and have wheelchair accessible washroom facilities.
